For communicating science, the medium of Drama is found to be a very popular option. Annual Science Drama Competition is organized in District, State and Eastern India level by BITM during June - July where school students are eligible to participate & perform drama based on a scientific issue. Winners at every stage makes it to the next round.

KOLKATA DISTRICT SCIENCE DRAMA COMPETITION 2016-17

This Museum will organize Kolkata District Science Drama Competition on 19th July, 2016 (Tuesday). A team of eight participants and the Director can participate in this competition.

Winning team(s) of Kolkata district will qualify to participate in the W. B. State Level Science Drama Competition to be held on 26th July, 2016 (Tuesday).

The best team of W. B. Competition will be able to participate in the Eastern India Science Drama Competition to be held at BITM on 19th August, 2016 (Friday).

Finally two best winners of Eastern India Competition will participate in the National Science Drama Festival to be held in Visvesaraya Industrial & Technological Museum, Bangalore in January 2017. The theme and sub-themes of Science Drama Competition are
