Collaborative Programmes

  1. BITM in collaboration with Halo Heritage inaugurated an exhibition on ‘Camera, Clocks and Coins’ along with other programmes on the occasion of International Museum Day on May 18, 2015.
  2. BITM in collaboration with British Council, Kolkata organized a lecture session on ‘Nitrides – the Rainbow Material’ by Prof. Carol Tragor Cowen, Reader, University of Strathclyde, UK on January 18, 2016
  3. BITM in collaboration with West Bengal Academy of Science & Technology (WAST) organized a one day National Seminar on ‘Cell Phone Radiation Issues: Myth or Reality’ on January 23, 2016.
  4. BITM in collaboration with Turning Point organized a Mental Health Fair from January 27 to 30, 2016
  5. ISEC in collaboration with BITM organized a seminar on 'Better Nutrition: Key to Development' on January 9, 2015 and also organized a lecture on ‘Mars Orbiter Mission’ delivered by Dr. Debiprasad Duari, Director, M.P. Birla Planetarium, Kolkata on July 4, 2015
  6. BITM in collaboration with the Eastern India Section of Royal Society of Chemistry organized the 10th S. N. Mitra Memorial Biennial Essay Competition on July 7, 2015
  7. An orientation programme on ‘Good Model cum Project Making’ was organized for teachers at Moulali Yuba Kendra from July 20 to 22, 2015 in collaboration with Dept. of Youth Services Govt. of West Bengal. It was also held at BITM on August 19, 2015.
  8. 155th Birth Anniversary of Acharya Prafulla Chandra Ray was observed at BITM on August 3, 2015 in collaboration with Acharya Prafulla Chandra Sammilanee.
  9. A Science Camp was organized at BITM in collaboration with DST, Govt. of West Bengal from September 8 to 10, 2015
  10. BITM in collaboration with Dept. of Youth Services, Govt. of West Bengal and Royal Society of Chemistry organized West Bengal Students Science Seminar on September 4, 2015.
  11. Kolkata District Student Youth Science Fair 2015 was held at BITM on September 22 & 23, 2015 in collaboration with Dept. of Youth Services, Govt. of West Bengal
  12. The Headmasters’ Orientation Programme held at BITM on September 16, 17 & 19, 2015 in collaboration with Paschim Banga Sarba Shikhsa Mission
  13. BITM  and Daan Utsav Committee celebrated Daan Utsav on October 2 and 3, 2015
  14. The World Habitat Day was observed by BITM and South Asian Forum for Environment with Earth Watch Institute on October 5, 2015
  15. BITM in collaboration with ISEC, Kolkata organized a National Seminar on ‘A Glimpse of the Population Dynamics of Eastern States of India: An Anthropological Perspective’ on October 3, 2015.
  16. BITM in collaboration with British Council, organized a lecture session by Mr. Jon Turney, a UK based science writer on ‘Futurama – do past futures cloud our thinking about futures to come?’ on Friday, 6 November 2015.
  17. BITM, in collaboration with Inner Wheel Club & Rotary Club of Calcutta Megacity, observed Children’s Day on November 14, 2015
  18. Royal Society of Chemistry, Eastern India Section and BITM, organized the 17th Niroprova Memorial Lecture on November 28, 2015.
  19. The Centre for Interdisciplinary Research & Education (CIRE), West Bengal Academy of Science and Technology (WAST), NCSM, Central Council for Research in Homeopathy (CCRH), Dept. of AYUSH, Govt. of India and BITM organized a Symposium on “Science behind Homeopathy” on February 20, 2016.   20. BITM in collaboration with Bichitra Pathshala organized a Video Editing Workshop for teachers at BITM on February 26 and 27, 2016.
